"NEW" Bigger and Improved Training and Flying Field
UKPPG (Known as Fenland Wind and Airsports Centre) have now MOVED to our NEW larger Flying Field after Nearly 5 years at our previous location.
The NEW UKPPG Field is much bigger and much safer with NO Hazards, Wind Obstructions, or Electricity Pylons.
We have now established a 10 year lease on the new location and are developing the site to make it better for our students and UKPPG Members.
We have heavily invested in NEW onsite facilities including a new Training / Clubroom, Flight Simulator, Mens, Ladies and Disabled Toilets, Family Area, Parking and Camping Area and maintanance equipment.
We also have also re-newed and increased our 2012 stock of training and flying Equipment and this is also available now for Hire so if you are out and about and fancy a fly but left your equipment at home then just give us a call and hire for the day.
Anyone Flying In - Flying Over Head - or Flying From UKPPG are kindly asked to please adhere to the NO-FLY areas as illustrated in RED on the plan below.
SPECIAL ATTENTION TO ALL PILOTS
DO NOT fly inside of the BLUE BOXED Area at ANY TIME out of Respect for the Crematorium and the Golf Course.
Please pay Special Attention to the Chicken Houses to the South of our Site there is a 75m Minimum Distance away from any Chicken House at any time and you must NOT fly over these building at Any Time or inside of any of the Blue Boxed No Fly Zone, unless you are at high altitudes of 2500ft or Above.
There is a 500ft perimeter around all other local buildings / houses which as you know is standard CAA Air Law.
Please familiarise yourself with the areas prior to flying in, or passing through, and be courtious to our surrounding neighbours, with Dead Stick Landings (Engine Off) or approach on Tick-Over.
Thank you.
