Vittorazi derives its name from Vittoriano Orazi. The first MINI MOTORBIKES, which would later become a true Italian legend, were designed only in 1987, for fun and passion.

The first models were hand built and sold as `for entertainment`. The new motorbikes that fascinated both children and adults were in fact initially promoted only on the occasion of special exhibitions. However, after the surge of their popularity, they started to be used, more and more often, for competition and sports events. The first race-tracks that were set-up were in fact specifically designed to allow visitors to rent a mini motorbike and experience the thrill of taking part in a race with a real motorbike.

In time, the mini motorbikes offered future champions the opportunity of learning and train before moving on to the real world of motorbikes. Champions like Valentino Rossi and Marco Melandri used to race, as children, with the mini motorbikes manufactured by Vittorazi.

In 1994, Vittorazi decided to start manufacturing engines for paramotors (motorized paragliders). It was an immediate success, as this kind of sport required the use of extremely light, powerful and easy to use engines with low consumption features. Or, in other words, the typical characteristics of all Vittorazi motors.

Vittoriano Orazi, a fan of paragliding, personally manufactured and tested the engines designed for paramotors and flying equipment. Vittorazi`s motors soon became extremely popular both in Italy and abroad.

The long list of record-breaking successes is alone the proof of their uniqueness: from the successes in the French and European Championships, to the third position in the fifth edition of the Word Air Games held in Turkey down to the Italian `Vittoriano` and the prestigious World Championship of 1999.

In the years that followed, the company designed several new engines for paragliders, taking into account both the feedback and needs of drivers. All new models are a unique combination of technology and simplicity.

We thought it was essential to dedicate some words to the person who has developed such a popular brand and made it famous thanks to his creativity and originality: a person that has left something unique.
