Pioneer - Outstanding performance combined with maximum safety!
The Pioneer is our latest development in the beginner segment, with a performance probaly never reached in the LTF/EN A class.
The targets we defined for this glider were extremely high. It required a high degree of R&D, test flying and a lot of prototypes until we achieved our ambitios targets for this glider. For example our R&D Team designed a completely new profile which covers a large performance spectrum and has still enough passive safety reservs. In this new profile we have also built in the kink resistant plastick rods on the leading edge. This reinforcements gives the Pioneer a perfect profile accuracy which affects glide angle and take off behavior very positive.
The Pioneer's design has only three risers for easy and simple line sorting. Moreover, by this line reduction the drag of the lines is significant reduced. Among other reasons the result is an incedible glide angle so that a comparion with other, higher classified Paragliders the Pioneer mustn't afraid of it.
As with all paragliders our test pilot team paid a lot of attention for a direct, well balanced handling with a nice roll and pitch damping. Of course on a paraglider which is suitable for training the safety is a must. Until now we were able to certify the sizes M and L brilliantly according to the LTF/EN A regulations, which provide the highest level of passive safety.
The Pioneer is the ideal glider for ambitious and talented student pilots who want to make their first experience with cross country flights. But also for safety orientated pilots who want a relaxed and stress less flying without having a comrpomise in performance it is the first choice. Pilot requirement wise we have placed the Pioneer in between our two successful models Cruiser2 (LTF/EN A) and the Garuda (high level LTF/EN B)
